WELCOME

Capabilities
Our main core business is to install pipes, conduits and cables and repair underground sewers and pipes without digging or disruption. We rehabilitate and extend the useful life of pipes, saving you the expense and time required to dig up and replace them. Using our advanced technologies, we repair pipes from the inside, in most cases without man-entry or excavation.

Our solutions, which are proven, non-disruptive and cost effective, address a wide range of serious pipe problems.

Municipal Sewers
We restore structural integrity to and remove infiltration from sewers using- various processes. We can solve a wide range of problems in sewers up to nine feet in diameter. Among our areas of expertise: Sanitary Sewers
Storm Sewers
Force Mains
Service Laterals
Point Repair

Commercial Pipes
When you have problems with pipe that is difficult-to-access, we can often provide a solution. We rehabilitate pressure and gravity pipes, which are underground, submerged or located in hard-to-reach places. We can address many of the industries most serious pipe problems, including those that affect: Process Effluent Sewers
Sanitary Sewers
Storm Sewers
Re-circulation Pipes
Raw Water Intake Pipes (Primary and Secondary)
Product Transfer Pipes
Cooling Water Systems

Water Mains
We rehabilitate and extend the useful life of aging water mains, which are suffering from corrosion and/or excessive leakage due to faulty joints. All of our water products are certified for use under ANSI/NSF Standard 61.
Tunnelling and Other Rehabilitation Applications
We can solve a wide variety of other kinds of underground problems. With innovative tunnelling and rehabilitation techniques we can help you in areas such as:
Pipe Jacking
Micro Tunneling
Slip-lining
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
Pipe Bursting
Vertical Drilling (for CP)

INSTALLATION ACIVITIES
Pipe Jacking
Application: A specialized, man-entry tunneling method used to install new factory manufactured pipes with minimal surface disruption. While used primarily for sewer construction, it can also be used to rehabilitate and reline sewers and other pipe systems with diameters ranging from 54 inches to 124 inches.

Advantages:
pipe jacking is an economical alternative to and much less disruptive than using open cut system, pipe jacking decreases the risk of environmental contamination during construction.

Micro-Tunneling
Micro-tunneling system consists of remotely controlled tunneling machine (or shield). This system excavates a circular tunnel or borehole into which the product pipeline is installed. Pipes to be installed are connected to the back of the micro-tunneling shield. As the shield forms the bore, it is pushed forward by a set of hydraulic jacks positioned in the drive shaft and guided by a railing frame. When a full length of pipe is jacked into the ground, new pipes are positioned into the frame, connected to the pipe string and then pushed forward. This process will continue until the micro tunneling machine arrives into the reception shaft located at the point where the bore will be finished. The only excavations required are for the drive and reception shafts. The following figure shows a typical micro tunneling set up for manhole-to-manhole installations.
A tunneling shield carries out excavation, which was equipped with different types of cutting heads for different types of soils. The heads may be fitted with blades for soft soil, picks for mixed ground and disc cutters for hard rock. The ground conditions will have a large effect on the choice of micro-tunnelling system for a particular situation, as they will determine the type of machine to be used, the cutting head, the soil removal system and the jacking forces required.

Slip Lining
Application: A trench-less method of installing new factory-manufactured pipe and service connections inside existing sewer, water and commercial lines. Accomplished by puling a new liner pipe into the existing pipe, creating a slight decrease in the inside diameter. Application for pipes ranging from 8 inches to 96 inches in diameter.

Advantages: Slip Lining can be performed rapidly, without disturbing adjacent services or requiring bypass pumping. It makes it possible to repair long lengths of pipe with minimal disruption. Because the liner is structurally sound, it solves problems related to leek-age and structural deterioration.

Installation: In the slip lining process, a winch cable is inserted through the existing line and then attached to the front of the new liner. The new liner pipe is then pulled into the existing pipe, and the new liner pipe reconnected to the system. If needed, the void between new and existing pipe can be filled with grouting.

Horizontal Directional Drilling

Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is a construction method used for the crossing of obstacles found along pipeline route, such as roads, rivers, sensitive areas, etc. This is a trench-less construction method, avoids cutting and/or interruption of obstacle, and eliminates large environmental impacts associated with excavation of a trench.

Horizontal Directional Drilling is the application of the proven directional drilling techniques, used in oil and gas well drilling, to steer a drill bit along a prescribed pathway beneath an obstacle. This pathway is then enlarged and improved such that a pipeline or conduit can be installed beneath the obstacle to be crossed.

The HDD is becoming an increasingly accepted technique for the pipe installation under natural or man-made obstructions all over the world. It has been used in petroleum industry on cross country pipeline transmission systems, and is also having great success for water lines, submarine power lines and telecommunications lines crossing.

The Three stages of the HDD Technology are :

Drilling a small diameter pilot hole by means of remotely controllable drilling assembly and pushing a drill pipe along a designated curved profile.

Reaming the pilot hole to a diameter suitable for the installation of the pipeline string.

Installing the pipeline into the reamed hole.

Pipe Bursting

Application: Pipe Bursting offers the opportunity of a size on-line replacement of an existing pipe or replacement of the existing pipe with one of a larger diameter thereby increasing capacity. This method can be used in the following applications.

Water Supply & Distribution (potable & raw)

Gas Transmission (low pressure) and Distribution

Sewer Pumping (rising) Mains

Installation: The existing pipe is split by a hydraulic or pneumatic nose cone attached to the new polyethylene pipe, which is then pulled through the existing pipeline. Once the nose cone has cracked the existing pipe and pushed the pieces out into the surrounding ground, a void is created for the new pipeline to travel into as it follows immediately behind.
